What is The STATE Club? According to the Secretary of State (SOS) office records, The STATE Club is the official booster club for South Carolina State University’s Athletics. The STATE Club is registered under South Carolina “Solicitation of Charitable Funds Act” for the purpose of assisting with scholarships and activities within the athletic program as of April 9, 1992. Subsequent to the registration with SOS, The STATE Club also received 501(c) 3 private non-profit status.

How does The STATE Club solicit funds? The STATE Club offers membership at various levels that include amenities such as Football/Basketball Season tickets, Game Day Personalized Parking and Tailgating Areas, and other small special events.
